Overview
Students at the University of Cincinnati select from one of three focuses to develop their specializations (multicultural/social justice, substance abuse, or school counseling).
Doctoral graduates are committed to the development of their research and teaching potential, in addition to developing skills that enable them to provide service and leadership for diverse populations, emphasizing underserved groups.

- Master's Degree in Counseling (required with a cumulative GPA of a 3.00 or higher from a regionally accredited institution); or
- Master's degree in a Psychology or Social Work related field (an additional year of masters-level counseling coursework and additional clinical requirements are required during PhD program)
