Public health nurses are more needed than ever in the U.S. with the increasing frequency of natural and environmental disasters and public health emergencies, aging population, and increasingly apparent disparities in health care.
Graduates of UC's Public Health Nursing DNP at the University of Cincinnati are ready to assume leadership roles in public health systems, government agencies, and non-governmental organizations. These nurses implement evidence-based practice, quality improvement, and systems leadership in public health.
