Living costs for Columbus
The living costs include the total expenses per month, covering accommodation, public transportation, utilities (electricity, internet), books and groceries.
Funding
Every student accepted to the Biomedical Sciences Graduate Program is offered an annual stipend and a waiver of tuition and fees. During the first year, stipend, tuition and fees are paid by the Program; in subsequent years the student’s dissertation advisor pays the stipend from a research grant.
International applicants MUST have a designated OSU faculty mentor willing to fund a stipend, tuition and fees for 5+ years of the program before applying. In order to do this they would have to find an OSU faculty member that is willing to sponsor them during the time when they complete the PhD.
