Applicable programmes
Benefits
Full-term scholarship
Tuition fees and other compulsory fees;
Maintenance allowance;
Return economy class airfare (For overseas scholarship);
Other approved expenses incurred in relation to the postgraduate programme.
Mid-term scholarship
Tuition fees and other compulsory fees (Including back-payment of tuition fees and other compulsory fees incurred prior to award);
Maintenance allowance (From point of award);
One-way economy class airfare from country of study (For overseas scholarship);
Other approved expenses incurred in relation to the postgraduate programme.k
Eligibility
- Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents intending to take up Singapore Citizenship.
- Strong academic results for first degree in relevant disciplines.
- Have applied / be applying for a Master’s / PhD programme at a local/ overseas university.
- Applicants for mid-term scholarship should have attained at least one semester of academic results.

The SFA Postgraduate Scholarship opens for applications annually in the third quarter of the calendar year. Shortlisted applicants will be contacted before end-October.
All applications are to be submitted via the Brightsparks portal. The Scholarships Team will review all applications submitted via the portal and only shortlisted candidates will be notified for further selection. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted by Kosh Consulting Group (Asia) Pte Ltd (KCGA), the appointed contractor before end-October.
