The plan of study begins in the summer and takes place over nine semesters.

- Students in the Audiology program from West Virginia University will complete 62 credits of coursework (including seven credits of a culminating project) and 36 credits of clinical enrollment.
- Courses enhance students’ learning with the use of team-, problem-, and research-based and experiential activities.
Programme Structure
Curriculum:
- Students will start their practical/clinical experiences at the onset of the program.
- During the first two years, clinical activities will occur in courses, in the STEPS lab, with standardized patients, in our new clinic, and in local and regional clinical settings.

General requirements
- Obtained a baccalaureate degree or equivalent from a properly recognized institution of higher learning prior to starting the program,
- Maintained an overall undergraduate grade point average of at least 2.8 (where ‘A’ = 4.0),
- Completed the prerequisite coursework listed below with a grade of ‘C’ or better. A minimum of two courses in the CSD coursework must be completed before the application deadline. The remaining prerequisite courses must be completed prior to starting the graduate program.
