Curriculum:
- Mentorship, internships, and a supportive alumni network are components of all of our programs, but this program has a few added bonuses as well.
- The Department of Energy Nuclear Leadership Program offers stipends, travel expenses and internships at national laboratories when your research revolves around the nuclear fuel cycle and nuclear power generation.
- If you’re looking for an international opportunity, try Gelfand Global Fellows. You’ll travel to Ethiopia and work with STEM schools to devise chemical engineering coursework.

General requirements
- Online application, including a 1-2 page personal statement addressing your intent for pursuing graduate studies in chemical engineering, any previous research experiences, future research or academic interests, career goals and/or involvement promoting diversity, equity and inclusion
- $50 application fee (fee waivers can be requested by contacting the department chair)
- GRE scores are not required or considered for admission
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in chemical engineering or a related field (either already complete, or will be complete before you enroll)
