- The mission of the Clinical and School Psychology Doctoral Program (Psy.D.) at James Madison University is to produce leading health service psychologists who are broadly trained in the science and practice of psychology, actively self-reflective, optimally prepared to work in a wide variety of settings with clientele, and demonstrably committed to an ethic of personal responsibility, social awareness, and global engagement.

General requirements
- Submit a personal statement that includes a brief autobiographical sketch outlining your professional experience, interests, and future plans. Also indicate why you think you would be a good fit with the Combined-Intergrated Program at JMU and if there are any particular areas that intrigue you about our program or particular faculty members with whom you would like to work on professional goals
- Current professional vitae
- Three letters of recommendation
- Have completed an advanced degree (M.A. or Ed.S.) in Clinical, School, or Counseling Psychology, or a closely related field - If you have any questions about whether or not you would qualify, contact Andrea Henriques at henriqas@jmu.edu.
- Students who are selected for an interview will be invited to campus in late February.
- Submitting GRE scores is optional for applicants.
