About the program
Often referred to as the Birthplace of Aviation, the Southwest Ohio area has long played an important role in aerospace history and technology. The University of Cincinnati School of Aerospace Systems, which features the second-oldest Aerospace Engineering program in the country, has been at the forefront of aerospace technology since the early days of air and space travel.
The School of Aerospace Systems graduate programs in Aerospace Engineering and Engineering Mechanics have played pivotal roles in building this success by bringing together outstanding faculty, and the most talented students from around the world.

- For graduate programs, the university welcomes applications from students who hold a bachelor's degree (or higher) from a college or university accredited by accrediting agencies recognized by the U.S. Department of Education for Title IV purposes or the international equivalent.
- GRE - Required of all international students; GRE is exempt for students that earned a degree from an ABET accredited university (or equivalent accreditation) in the USA with a GPA of 3.0+
