Features
Within the Food, Nutrition, Dietetics and Health degree, students at Kansas State University are able to pick an area of emphasis in either public health-physical activity, public health- nutrition, nutritional sciences or sensory analysis and consumer behavior. Programs of study are developed according to interests, backgrounds and career goals of the student.
In addition to graduate human nutrition courses, students often include courses from other departments such as animal sciences and industry; grain science and industry; biochemistry; chemistry; anatomy and physiology; kinesiology; psychology; and biology; from the Colleges of Business Administration and Education; and from interdisciplinary international courses.

- Applicants with a non-nutrition background are encouraged to apply, and those students would be required to take one to two nutrition courses in addition to graduate coursework
