An embracing culture
It's a good university, with an embracing culture and always ready to help. We use to have exchange students from other countries and they are very welcome! The facilities are good and there are courses taught in English. However, this is more applicable to master courses and PhD
Top-Tier Biomedical Engineering PhD
My experience at the University of Porto through the PRODEB program was entirely positive. The infrastructure, research facilities, and teaching quality were excellent. The faculty were supportive and knowledgeable, and the program provided strong international exposure through the Marie Sk?odowska-Curie framework. The university fosters a collaborative and innovative culture, and living in Porto added to the overall experience with its vibrant and welcoming environment. I highly recommend the University of Porto to anyone pursuing advanced studies in biomedical engineering.
Great experience with in psychology studies
Studying philosophy at this university has been a truly rewarding experience. The programme offers a strong theoretical foundation combined with practical opportunities that helped me grow both academically and personally. I particularly appreciated the openness of the professors, who were always willing to support and guide us. The university environment is friendly and diverse, which made it easy to connect with students from different backgrounds and share perspectives. While there were some organizational challenges at times, the overall quality of education and the opportunities for extracurricular involvement made up for it. I would definitely recommend this programme to anyone passionate about understanding human behavior and making a positive impact through philosophy
